Having recently established itself on the Eastern European markets, the Pom'Alliance group, French leader in fresh potatoes, is internationalizing its communication tools.

After entrusting us with the creation of their first consumer booklet in Russian, followed by another booklet in German, the translation to English and Italian of its flagship brand website, Doréoc, Pom'Alliance had us handle the French to Russian translation, design and production of its brochure for potato industry professionals in Russia.

The challenge: To provide a flawless rendition of the original message, and to project an image of quality.

The specificity of advertising copy is demonstrated not only at the communication level but also at the strictly semiotic level and calls for special treatment. Therefore, the advertisement translator must do an in-depth linguistic analysis of the signifying structure that he encounters.
