Dubbing and audio recording
Home » Studio area » Dubbing and audio recordingYou would like to record a speaking part in a foreign language. Atenao can carry out your dubbing and voice recordings.
Carrying out a multilingual audio-visual project requires a wide array of skills. Atenao can accommodate your requirements, whether it be adding a voiceover or subtitles to a film, recording the reading of a text into a native language for an audio guide, transcription or translating your audio and video texts.
AUDIO TYPING
Simple transcription involves editing into text format, spoken texts contai- ned within an audio or video file. An audio typist in entrusted with the trans- cription of the texts in time with the audio or video file. Atenao offers simple transcription in all languages.
Time-coded transcription is essential when integrating subtitles or voiceo- vers because it ensures that the subtitles or voiceovers are timed perfectly to match the original voice. It captures the spoken texts within an audio or video file whilst respecting the original time codes. This is carried out by an audio typist via a subtitle enabling software. Atenao offers time-coded transcription in all Latin languages.
SUBTITLE TRANSLATION
Subtitle translation is carried directly inside the subtitle file, replacing the origi- nal transcribed texts. Such a task is systematically carried out by a native lan- guage translator, specialising in the required field. Atenao offers subtitle transla- tion in all languages that read from left to right. The translated file is rendered in the format of your choice (srt, sub, txt or equivalent).
SUBTITLE SUPERIMPOSITION
Superimposing subtitles in a foreign language involves integrating the sub- titles into the video. This is carried out by our studio team, equipped with video processing software. The file is delivered in the format of your choice (ts, avi, wmv, mpeg,mov).
LIP SYNCHRONIZATION AND VOICE OVERS
Lip synchronization involves translating video texts whilst adapting the voca- bulary expansion rate of the target language in order to fit with the lip move- ments of the actors or speakers. This is somewhat risky technique.
Recording a voiceover means adding a foreign voice into a video, this tech- nique involves:
* Recording the voiceover by one of our native language translators or interpre- ters
* Synchronising the voiceover with the original voice or time codes
* Editing and mixing
* Delivery of the file in the format of your choice (ts, avi, wmv, mpeg, wav, aiff, mp3).
